Spiritual emotional freedom technique increased patient self efficacy

Introduction: Patients with a diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in Sleman Regency 2020 were 20,097 patients. The treatment diabetes requires good motivation from Self-confidence or self-efficacy will help shape behaviors that support healing. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) was therapy can create positive emotional conditions and calm mind so the right thoughts emerge to decide attitudes helping healing process. This study aims determine effect SEFT for patients DM-Type 2 at working area public health center Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.Methods: used quasi-experiment pre-test post-test using control group design. assessed DM-Self Efficacy Scale. intervention subjected therapy. sample this 40 respondents group. sampling technique purposive technique. Data collection carried out between July August 2020.Results: results data collected processed Wilcoxon test Mann Whitney test. obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) <0.05). 0.003 <0.05).Conclusion: affects increasing type II DM
